One of the most endearing truths of our faith is that God is not only almighty, creator of heaven and earth, but our Father. In this meditation, we use texts from Scripture, the Catechism and saints, especially St Josemaria Escriva, to consider how:
- Jesus’ revelation that God is truly our Father is a great blessing
- God shows that he is a Father in many ways
- The Catechism teaches that a first consequence of this truth is that we should strive to be more like our Father God
- A second consequence is that we should come to our Father with a humble and trusting heart
